Dilapidation reports are important documents if you aim to prove that
your property was potentially damaged prior to other works being implemented
adjacent to your property. For instance, a bridge or road being constructed
close by your home. We provide these reports to ensure you can prove the
condition of your property in the event
that some damage has occurred during nearby construction projects.
We provide detailed reports that are completed to Australian Standard 4349. A
dilapidation report is a two-part process. First, we will come to your property
and do a thorough inspection of its condition as it stands at that moment. This
part of the report must or should be done prior to the commencement of any
nearby constructions taking place.
And secondly, Once the nearby construction is complete, we will perform another
inspection of your home or business using the same protocol to track any new
damage which has occurred. We can also assess this damage to determine if it
was likely caused by outside sources (i.e. any construction going on nearby).
This will help you make a strong case for compensation for the damage caused to your property.
